TradeGPT 360 Ai Review

The Xiaomi Poco sub-brand has announced its latest devices, the X6 and the X6 Pro. These are affordable phones with very similar specifications.

After initial rumors about the specifications of the Poco X6 Pro, the only differences I can see are that it has a much better-sized 8300 Ultra chipset, faster charging of 90 W, and faster memory. However, it lacks a microSD extension and a 3.5mm headphone jack. assuming that these rumored specifications are correct, many people would prefer the inexpensive Poco X6.

Poco X6 and the Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 Pro

Many early rumors suggest that the Poco X6 is just a renamed Redmi Note 13 Pro, and this is almost true, but there are some significant differences:

  • The Poco X6 has a basic 64 MP main camera that uses a 1/2-inch sensor, while the Redmi Note 13 Pro has a 200 MP 1/1.4-inch sensor.
  • The Poco X6 is available with 8 GB of RAM with 256 GB of storage or an impressive 12 GB / 512 GB, while the Redmi starts at 8 GB/ 128 GB and goes up to 16 GB/512 GB.
  • The Poco X6 has a hybrid dual SIM card, so you can use a microSD memory SIM slot.

Design and build quality

I was sent the phone in black, and the overall picture is quite general, but without much reproval.

The only points that are worth mentioning are the 3.5mm headphone jack, which is important to many people, and the sim tray supports two SIM cards or one SIM card and one microSD card to expand the already generous memory.

There is a significant camera bump on the back, and the included rubber matter has a strange large cutout with a huge lip on the edge to protect protruding cameras.

Overall, although it’s not the most exciting design (which really applies to all phones), but it’s well made and the black color makes it neutral.

The quality of the screens on phones has improved significantly in recent years, and this applies to the Poco X6. Although it is an affordable phone, they have an AMOLED display with 1220 x 2712 pixels and a refresh rate of 120 MHz. It has a typical brightness of 500 nits, but can reach 1200 nits with HBM (High Brightness Mode) outdoors in the sun.

The Poco X6 has a basic camera specification of:

  • 64mp main camera with OIS with OmniVision OV64B 1/2″ sensor.
  • 8MP ultra-wide camera with Sony imx355 1/2.8″ sensor.
  • 2MP macro Camera
  • Like many affordable phones, the 2-megapixel macro camera is largely unusable.

Even if the other two sensors are not enthusiastic, the overall performance is acceptable. In good condition, the 64MP can take excellent photos, and I was quite impressed with the quality of the 4MP zoom. Of course, this is a digital zoom, and therefore they lose in quality, but I thought the overall quality was better than expected.

The Ultrawide 8MP does the job if necessary, but it’s better to stick to the main camera.
